Company Secretary

Donna has been with the Company since 2000. Prior to joining Darlow Lloyd and Sons Ltd Donna worked for 10 years with British Steel as a Process Development Engineer.

As Company Secretary Donnas role is to ensure the company’s legal compliance, governance, and administrative efficiency. Donna manages daily business operations across departments like HR, finance, marketing, and IT, ensuring efficiency and productivity in workflows, processes, supply chain, and service delivery.

Donna takes a key role in Stakeholder Engagement. Providing links between the executive team and employees, represents the company in client, investor, and partner meetings. Maintains effective relationships with other directors and stakeholders.

Responsible for Governance & Compliance, develops and implements policies and procedures for operational control. Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Regularly reviews procedure, process and assists with implementing recommended improvements.

Donna role is to support DLS by managing the monitoring and improve business performance by implementation of the Integrated Total Quality Management systems.

Donna assists the Board of Directors to shape and maintain a positive company culture, oversee employee development and performance, support internal operations to ensure alignment with business goals.

Supports change management initiatives and organisational transformation.

Qualifications :

• BSc (Hons)
• NVQ L4 in Adv. Hot and Cold Steel Rolling.
• WAMITAB Level 3 (Supervisory) Diploma for Sustainable Recycling
• LRQA Internal Auditor.

Donna is a qualified and practicing Fitness Instructor. A keen gardener and backyard beekeeper.
