James Evans

Financial Controller (Group)

James is a member of the management team. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant at BPU Chartered Accountants in Cardiff and then spent some time as part of the acquisitions team at PHS Group before joining Darlow Lloyd Group in late 2012.

James oversees the accountancy function of the group and is responsible for reporting monthly management figures and other ad-hoc financial tasks to the board of directors.

Develops and controls operational budgets, reviews financial performance and ensures cost-effective operations.

James acts as a strategic partner to the Board and management team. Providing information to guide investment decisions, acquisitions, and long-term planning. Provides financial analysis to support decision-making.

He oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensuring cash flow management, profitability, and cost control.

James manages regulatory compliance, including tax, audit, and financial laws, ensuring internal controls and financial integrity.
