Director

Owain is a WAMITAB Holder and responsible for the Landfill, Waste Transfer and Licensed Waste Carrier aspects of the business.

His role is to ensure compliance with all Environmental Legislation and drive forward Recycling opportunities.

Owain heads up Research & Development at DLS and is responsible for its overall performance and strategic direction. Driving innovation through research and development, implementing the Company’s strategic vision by translating it into actionable plans.

Owain builds relationships between customers, suppliers, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure satisfactory outcomes across the requirements for all.

Alongside the other Directors responsible for the responsible for DLS overall performance and strategic direction. Monitor performance indicators and ensure strategic execution.

• BA (Hons)
• WAMITAB
• Charted Member of CIWM
• WAMITAB Level 4 Diploma: Managing Hazardous Landfill
• WAMITAB Level 4 Diploma: Managing Hazardous Physical and Chemical Treatment
• IOSH Directing Safely
• Hazardous Waste – Coding & Classification

Owain was involved in professional sports until joining Darlow Lloyd & Sons. He is still very competitive and enjoys training on a regular basis alongside some of this other retired rugby compatriots for both competition and pleasure. A keen skier, he also enjoys power boating and relaxing and socialising with friends and family.
