Enabling and Infrastructure
Darlow Lloyd & Sons (DLS) carry out enabling and infrastructure works for Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs), Independent Connection Providers (ICPs), Engineer Procure & Construct (EPC) contractors, Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contractors, Developers and Private individuals right across the UK working on renewable energy projects, new developments or upgrading existing infrastructure. We assist customers on their projects in a number of ways including but not limited to the following:
- Site clearance works including demolition, vegetation & scrub removal.
- Fencing and gateways.
- The creation of access roads, crane pads & compound areas.
- Reinforced concrete works for foundations, plinths etc
- Excavation, duct laying, backfilling & reinstatement of electricity ducting, telecommunications ducting & HDPE pipework in urban and rural environments.
- High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV) & fibre optic cable laying by direct lay, cable plowing or winching methods
